Jian Tang is currently a postdoctoral research fellow at the Department of Aerospace Engineering at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He received his B.S degree in Electronics Engineer from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC) in 1992. Following his graduation, he was employed by Chongqing-ISUZU Motors (Qingling Motors) as an engineer. In 1998 and 2001, he received his M. Sc. and Ph. D. from the Department of Flight Vehicle Design and Application Mechanics, Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, China. He joined the Computational Thermo-Fluids group under supervision of Dr. Shyy from January, 2005.
